How can I find out about seat availability for a particular flight?

Are reservations required?

In general, all flights require advanced reservations. Please make your reservation can be made by telephone or E-mail. Tel, (+81)47-380-5555. The Petit Dream Course and the Twilight Course do not require advanced reservations.

Will I be charged if I cancel my reservation?
Yes.There is a 10% cancellation charge if you cancel your reservation up to 2 days prior to your departure.The charge is 50% for cancellations the day before your scheduled departure. All cancellations made on your flight date will be charged the full flight fare.Please call about changing your flight date and time.  

 

What are my options for making payment?
Payment must be made on the day of your flight by either cash or credit card.  

 

Is tax included in the flight fares?
Yes, tax is included in the listed price.

 

How many people can ride in one helicopter?
It depends on the helicopter type, but the ones we use can accommodate up to 10 passengers.

How high does the helicopter fly?
For reasons of noise prevention and safety, our flights fly about 600 meters above the ground.

What long are the flights?
It depends on the course.Flight times range from 5 minutes to 20 minutes.

What areas do the helicopters fly over?
It depends on the course.The Tokyo Course, for example, passes near the Tokyo Tower, Shinjuku, Akihabara, Roppongi, etc.The Yokohama Course passes Minato Mirai, the Bay Bridge, Cosmo World, etc.  

Is there an official timetable?

What should we do in case of bad weather?
In the case of bad weather, flights may be cancelled.Please re-book a new reservation.

Are there any acrobatic helicopter cruises?
Sorry, no.

We would like to fly in a big group.Can you accommodate us?
For large groups, we have three helicopters that can operate at the same time, accommodating up to 24 people.Please call (+81)47-380-5555 or send us an E-mail for further information.  

When can I find out whether or not a flight will operate?
On the day of your flight, please call to confirm operation.We will know if a flight will go or not as follows: after 12:30pm for the Petit Dream Course and Dream Course, and after 4pm for all other courses.Please call us to confirm operation.Flights originating in Tokyo, call 047-380-3353.Flights originating in Yokohama, call 045-223-1155.  

How long does it take from arrival at the heliport to the end of the flight?  
It depends on the flight course you choose, but in general, we ask that you come 30 minutes prior to departure time.Including this time, wait wait time, and flight time, expect to take about 90 minutes altogether.  

 

Are we allowed to take pictures and videos from the helicopter?
Cameras and digital cameras, including cameras on mobile phones, are prohibited.However, video cameras are allowed.  

Is there anything we are not allowed to bring on board the helicopter?
In general, we ask passengers to leave all personal belongings in the lockers before boarding the helicopter.Presents and special gifts may be brought on board but please let us know ahead of time.  

Is it loud inside the helicopter?
The propeller does make sound, but you can easily here the person next to you.

Is it cold on board the helicopter?
For maximum comfort, all of our helicopters are equipped with air conditioning and heaters. Please feel free to come in regular clothes.During boarding and disembarking and on windy days, watch you hats and scarves so that they don’t fly away!  

Is eating and drinking allowed on board?
No, sorry.

Does the helicopter shake and vibrate during flight?
Helicopters are very stable vehicles.Even in the strongest winds, there is very little shaking and vibration.  

If I am late for my flight, will I be charged a cancellation fee?
Yes, if you are late and miss your flight, you will be charged 100%.Please come early.

Can we use mobile phones in the helicopter?
No, sorry.

Is there a guide in the helicopter?
The pilot serves as a casual guide, pointing out the highlights of the views below.

 

Is there enough parking at the heliport?

Yes.People using the Minato Mirai Heliport, please use the nearby Rinko Park (pay parking lot).

* Rinko Park closes at 9pm.Please be sure to get your car out before it closes.

How do I get to the heliport from the nearby train stations?
It is a ways from the train station to the heliport so we recommend that you take a cab.
Urayasu Heliport: Get off the JR Keiyou line at Maihama Station.It is a 10 minute taxi ride from there.Or, take the Tokyo Metro Touzai line and get off at Urayasu Station.It is a 15 minute taxi ride from there.
Minato Mirai Heliport:Take the Minato Mirai Line and get off at Minato Mirai Station.It is a 15 minute walk from there.Or, get off at Sakuragicho.It is a 5 minute taxi ride from there. 		 

Will you call a taxi for us when the flight is over?
Yes. When checking in, will ask if you will be needing a taxi.If so,we will arrange for a taxi to pick you up after your flight.  

 

Can young children ride with us?
Yes, children under 3 can ride on a parent or guardian’s lap.

Are there restrictions for the elderly?
No.

I am in a wheelchair.Can I ride the helicopter?
Yes.We will help you board.Please mention your circumstances in advance.

Are there any restrictions for riding the helicopters?
Our company has a list of conditions under which, if a person falls, he/she will not be permitted to participate in helicopter cruising.  

Can I ride more than once?
Yes.Depending on the season and time of day, each course is completely unique.Please try cruising on different courses as each has something interesting to offer!  

What safety precautions do you take?

1.For safe operations,
Our helicopters are equipped with two engines in case one should have problems during flight.In addition, we only take off under safe weather conditions, which entails cloud heights of over 2,000 feet and visibility of more than 7,000 km.Finally, we operate a wireless control tower to maintain good communication with both our pilots and the tower at Haneda Airport.

2.For safe equipment
We have the authority to perform endurance tests on our helicopters as well as authorized facilities to maintain and upkeep them.

3.For safe ground handling
To maintain passenger safety, a safety briefing video is shown prior to flight.Passengers must also pass through a metal detector.In addition, we have sufficient staff to ensure a safe and smooth experience.Finally, we regularly monitor and observe the operations of the heliport to maintain safe handling on the ground.

 

Is there a place to eat at the heliport?
No, sorry.There are plenty of places to eat in and around the station or the hotel next door.

Do you offer charter flights?
Yes, we accept reservations for charter flights on all our courses.
